OnePlus 3T Midnight Black Limited Edition Launched - Release Date, Specs, Price & More

March has been quite impressive lately. With Android Oreo developer builds coming out of nowhere to the launch of the most anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8, March has been quite a month all tech-enthusiasts have come to love. Adding more to the excitement, OnePlus have launched a Limited Edition OnePlus 3T (view the teaser on YouTube), and guess what, it's Black, just like the recent Colette Edition. It is called the Midnight Black, and it won't have the Colette logo. Just a clean, matte black finish and the dapper OnePlus logo! We're already waiting desperately for 31st of March!

Oh, and by-the-way, 31st March is the date when the limited edition phone goes on sale in India. However, the phone will be available on HyperBeast (HBX) from 4 PM GST (9:30 PM IST) this Friday, 24th March. In India, the phone will be sold via OnePlus's official web-store and (hopefully) Amazon India from 2 PM IST of 31st March, till stocks last. Though we're not sure how many pieces of the phone will exactly be there, we're told that the stocks in India are 'extremely limited'.

Regarding the specifications, the phone retains all the specs from the original OnePlus 3T. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and the beautiful 5.5" 1080p Optic AMOLED display that is found on the 3T.  The phone shall only be available in the 128 GB Storage variant. We'll not bore you to death by re-writing all the specs again. Instead, let's just put it straight: The Midnight Black limited edition phone is just a OnePlus 3T gone charcoal bathing.

Should you buy it?
Well, if you haven't bought a OnePlus 3T yet, this could just be the best time to buy one, and this should be the color you should be looking forward to. At the regular selling price of INR Rs. 34,999, the Limited Edition phone has all the goodness of the 3T, plus this dope looking color, which, if you haven't guessed by now, we love.
And in case you just bought a 3T, and you still want the Black Edition, you should now be feeling how the OnePlus 3 users felt when the company released the 3T. There's no real reason to buy it except for the new color (which, by the way, is more prone to scratches than the regular Gunmetal or Soft Gold variant, as warned by the company on their official store). Still, if you have to get it anyhow, start putting your phone up for sale!
